The entire western world seems to be under siege. Country after country from USA to Europe to Disney Last Minute Vacation is reporting negative growth. On the contrary some of developing countries like China and India are still expected to grow even in the time of global slowdown. These trends are not very surprising and over last Ed Financial Loan Student decades while the Western world was barely growing at 1-2 percent , while many developing countries were reporting growth in the tune of 8-15 percent.
The economists and experts are at fix as they Choosing The Right College not know how to fix this problem. All bailout packages, which Utah Personal Injury Attorney already crossed trillions of dollars are hardly able to revive their economy. They just do not know what went wrong and what can be done to revive their economies and attain the heights of economic development and growth that they had had always associated with the western world?
If, you are told that the single reason for their meltdown and problem is the emergence of higher levels of "love, compassion and tolerance" in the Chuck Wright in last two decades, you just can agree to it. All experts may like to dismiss such reason as absurd and rubbish.
Yet this is the biggest truth.
The Truth We Don't Want to Listen
Two thousand years back, Jesus Christ said the same truth, which still baffles the people all around the world. Bible narrate this incident (Mathew 19: 16-24)
And behold, a man came up to him, saying, "Teacher, what good deed must I do to have eternal life?"
And He (Jesus) said to him, Van Trailer For Sale do you ask me about what is Business For Sale Com There is only one who is good. If you would enter life, keep the commandments."
He said to him, "Which ones?"
And Jesus said, "You shall not murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother, and, You shall love your neighbor as yourself."
The young man said to him, "All these I have kept. What do I still lack?
Jesus said to him, "If you would be perfect, go, sell what you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."
When the young man heard this he went away sorrowful, for he had great possessions.
And Jesus said to his disciples, "Truly, I say to you, only with difficulty will a rich person enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the kingdom of God."
Bible like any scriptures tells us that man can not be material as well as spiritual at the same time. If one focuses on materialism, he would gain wealth and power but he has to also Redhead Safe hatred and pain. While if he loves God as he gets and gives love and compassion he faces the danger of losing the material wealth. Yet the man wants both. While his material body seeks material possession, his divine self craves for love and compassion.
Though many clever men claim and prove that wealth and God are not opposite to each other and that man can get both wealth and God, in reality getting both is quite impossible. Jesus told this harsh truth to his disciples
"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money. (Mathew 6:24)
The Historical Truth of Wealth Creation
It one looks at the people or the nations who have acquired wealth in the history of mankind, one can clearly find one common factor.
All wealthy people or nations have to forget love and compassion.
Europe, which laid the foundation of the modern world, first buried Bible in their own land. They defied Jesus and the Churches to acquire wealth.
Instead of following the policy of love and compassion, which is the very essence of Bible and Christianity, they reinvented the oldest rule of Jungle and called it evolution principle which propagated the principle of "survival of the fittest".
After killing compassion at home, the European countries led by England, moved to other parts of the world and gradually over a period of two centuries made most of the world as their colonies. While Christ preached "Love Your Enemy" and "Offer the Second Cheek, if you are slapped at one cheek", they killed millions and made the almost whole of humanity as their slave. Yet only due to such acts, they expanded the market of their goods and made them the richest and most powerful people of the world, where the Sun never set.
Yet in the process of becoming wealthy, they became everything that Christ stood for. Gandhi said this emphatically
I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.
In their quest for more wealth and prosperity, Europeans became more and more brutal. Gradually the nations in the Europe competed with each other in the race of dominance and killed each other in the sake of wealth. The more brutal one became, the better chances he had in winning the race of prosperity.
The race became dirtier and dirtier and cultivated by the emergence of Adolph Hitler.
Hitler surprised the world, with the pace with which he conquered one European country after another and he was all set to rule the world. Yet behind his victories lied the bitter truth which he told the world, much before he became the Chancellor of Germany.
Hitler's views were expressed in his autobiographical book "Main Kampf" (My Struggle) in the following words.
"For the establishment of superior type of civilization the members of inferior races formed one of the most essential pre-requites. They alone could supply the lack of mechanical means, without which no progress is possible. It is certain that the first stages of human civilization were not based on the use of tame animals as on the employment of human beings who were members of inferior races...Only after subjudicated races were employed as slaves, was a similar fate allotted to animals, and not vice versa, as some people would have us believe. At first it was the conquered enemy who had to draw the plough as only afterwards did the ox and horse take his place."
The election of Barack Obama as president of United States seems to prove the West has come to a full circle in their perception of race. They seem to have more humane than they ever were in their history.
Even after the World War II, when Hitler was defeated by the Allied Forces, consisting of Great Britain, USA and Russia, the victors never followed the policy of love and compassion.
Within no time the allied forces, who fought together Hitler like one man, become sworn enemies of each other. The World war II ended but the Cold War began between USA and USSR, the two most powerful nations emerged after WWII. The war lasted for more than four decades and ended only in the late eighties.
Thanks to the cold war, the world saw phenomenon rise of wealth and prosperity in the countries who ware part of the rival camps. Germany, Japan, USA, UK, USSR, France, Italy all became the developed world.
The Emergence of Love
However, the world became a much better place in the last decade of the twentieth century. With the end of the cold wars and decline of Soviet Russia, there was a long period of peace and prosperity in the word. People came close to each other from all corners of the world.
Compassion grew not only between the nations, but also within the nations. The west opened its door for the East and East reciprocated the same by opening its market for the west. The international trade grew exponentially over two decades. The world became richer, yet most benefits now flew to the poor countries. The world was gradually becoming flat as the disadvantages based on race, and geography declined drastically in the global world.
In West, compassion grew for the weak and poor. There freedom of individual got the highest level of sanctity and even the interest of nations took a back seat when confronted with the right of the individual.
The principle of equality of races and people finally culminated in the victory of Barack Obama as the President of United States, the most powerful nation of the world.
Yet the same period saw a decline of the growth rates of the western nations including Pc Tv and Australia and the emergence of poor nationals like China and India in the global Horizon.
The relative loss of fortune of the west is thus Free Anime Flash Game related to the compassion and love that has been shown by the people of these countries towards each other and towards the other nations.
Compassion and Competition
While one may hate the theory of "Survival of the Fittest" being brutal and inhuman yet its role in the development of human civilization can never be discounted. The nations who Commercial Free Howard Music Player to be loving and avoid brutality and hatred can never become rich just like a man desirous of God can never become wealthy.
Competition alone can bring the best (and worst) of the people. West after becoming compassionate gradually lost its competitiveness in the world.
If the President of United States really wishes to turn around the economy of USA, the first thing he has to forget is compassion. He has to bring competition. The start has to be from within. People have to first made to compete each other and then only hey can fight with the world. There can be no compassion for the weak in competition. They have to go out of the race and pave the way for the strong.
Such suggestion looks obnoxious to any peace loving person, yet without it there can not be any revival of the economy of either West and East. By supporting the weak , one may be on the right side of the God and he may also acquire divinity yet he is likely to lose the worldly battle.
The world as well as people have to make a choice .
Wealth or God?
Compassion or Competition?
The Cost of Love
It is not easy to become spiritual and follow the scriptures like Bible. Equality and justice are much respected and revered, until it is applied in real life. If the wealth of the world is to be equally distributed in the world, who will lose most? Clearly, those who are in danger of losing can not follow equality and justice unless they are willing to suffer with the rest of the world. Yet if everyone becomes equal, the world would become more spiritual but less prosperous and equal wealth means no wealth as no edge would be enjoyed by any person. If one wishes to be wealthiest, he has to no option but to abandon God and everything that is associated with divinity like love, compassion, equality, justice etc. Are we willing to pay this price?
